70 cuyd SLOPER chassis with plank sided PERFORMANCE chassis. This chassis type is the lightest that Fruehauf have developed.

SAF discs with front lift axle - auto lift auto drop with over ride for traction assist set.

6 mm floor forward - laid as single sheet for strength

8 mm floor to rear of trailer for wear resistance

Side fully seam welded (many competitors reduce cost by only stitch welding - not advised in plank side construction!)

This is the most common specification sold in the UK currently. Newton have generated this standard and although we constantly optimise and fettle the design for Fruehauf this is where the market is settled at the moment.

UK manufactured.

Performance chassis:developed in 2007 is the lightest chassis out of the Fruehauf stable.

Sloper chassis: gives better clearout than a stepframe - the load discharges without the break at the step and with an extra 3 degrees tip angle. Center of gravity is almost identical to a stepframe.

Fully seam welded interior. Some manufacturers try and get away with stich welding the interior - allowing debris and weight to enter into the body cavity.

IRTE Tilt Tested to Class A: this is the best that can be tested. Some manufacturers do not attain this standard.

Silver metallic body with clear coat.

70 cuyd gets most products under the toprails for safety at an acceptable tare weight.

Automatic sheeting is now the norm and the industry standard for safety and working at height - 90% of our trailers go out with automatic sheets which we helped Dawbarn to develop in 1998!
